New Employees

  • To add a new employee, please follow the steps outlined in the "Adding New Employee's" article.

  • During onboarding, a form titled “Employee Onboarding” will be shared. It's recommend to save this file somewhere safe, as it will outline all of the required employee data which is needed to onboard in the country of operation.  

Please note that all requirements are country specific, ensuring you remain compliant with every payroll.

Filtering Employees

Lano offers a range of filters that make it easy to find specific employees. Check out below to see how they work.

  1. Select the Team page.

  2. From the Team page, select the "Filter" button in the top Right.

  3. Choose the appropriate filter(s) to refine the search. Results will update automatically based on the selected filters. To reset the selections, click "Clear all."

Employee ID’s

  • Lano IDs serve as unique identifiers, automatically generated by the Lano platform during employee onboarding.

  • Lano employee IDs must be integrated into payslips and all G2N reports.

  • Each ID consists solely of numerical digits.

  • After employees complete the onboarding process, their Lano ID will be visible on the Lano platform.

  • If you need to implement internal IDs, ensure they are provided during the onboarding process, whether synced from the HRIS or added manually. Internal partner's ID can be activated via company settings through Lano admin panel

Updating Employee Data

Employee information should be kept up to date at all times; this is vital as the data is shared with ICP’s.

  • If a HRIS integration is in use, employee data will be automatically synced from the HRIS. 

  • Synced employees can't be manually updated.

To manually update an employee, follow the steps below:

  1. Select the "Team" page and choose the employee you'd like to edit.

  2. To update the employee's personal information, simply click on the pencil icon and make the necessary updates in the corresponding fields. Remember to save the changes!

  3. It's also possible to update contact information & contract details in the same way as above, just select the pencil icon and make adjustments.

Please note it's not possible to update synced employees, this must be done through your HRIS.
