Creating a New Project

On our platform, you can successfully plan, manage, and track your workload. Through Lano projects, you can access multiple features that will boost your productivity.

Please note: The Lano Projects are only available if you book the control module. Please direct any questions about this feature to our sales team (sales@lano.io).

How to create a Project

Step 1:

To create a new project, select Projects in your menu bar and click on "Add project" in the top right corner.

Step 2:

This opens an editing screen. Here, you can add information about your project:

  • Title: Provide a name for your project.

  • Budget (optional): Allocate a budget.

Please note: The budget won’t be visible to your contractors working on the project.

  • Description: Add a short description of your project goal.

  • Project period: Set a time frame for your project.

  • Templates (optional)

  • Tasks (optional): Add a task within your project and allocated a fee for the task.

Step 3:

If you want contractors assigned to the project to be able to see every single task within the project, activate the slider for "Shared project".

Please note: When adding a contractor to a project, they will have limited access to the information and will not be able to see the fees of other contractors (see screenshot below).

Step 4:

Click "Create" in the bottom left corner to save your project.

Step 5:

As soon as you have created the project, you can add more tasks and assign them to external partners.

Step 6:

After completing all the tasks in the project, you can archive it.
